A growing Project Management practice was appointed by an existing Client to manage a new build and refurbishment project just outside the Project Management company’s typical geographical area.
The Client had undertaken the soft strip demolition and then the groundworks with their own labour. The Project Management company’s brief included the procurement of the basement waterproofing, brickwork, roofing, carpentry, dry lining, and flooring. The Project Manager had to arrange for the Site Hoarding, Site Turnstile, CCTV and Site Security. The mechanical and electrical works was undertaken by a Client appointment. The Client will then undertake the external works with his own labour.
Using www.subcontractprocurement.com , the Project Manager was able to select suitable sub-contractors to tender for the above various packages. Taking advantage of the search functions within the www.Subcontractprocurement website, the Project Manager was able to search for and then select suitable sub-contractors to appoint and complete the works.
The project is due to complete in March 2019
